The recent Guerrilla Collective showcase unveiled World of Horror as one of its featured titles, bringing exciting news for horror game enthusiasts. The showcase announced that the game is ready to depart from early access and will be fully released on October 19th, 2023. Players can look forward to experiencing the full version of the game on various platforms, including Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

World of Horror immerses players in a horrifying world on the verge of destruction, where confronting the terror reigning over the apocalypse is the only solution. Within this roguelite-style cosmic horror RPG, players will navigate a hellish landscape through turn-based combat and face unforgiving choices. Furthermore, players will invoke dark rituals, uncover disturbing clues, and solve puzzles across multiple randomized mysteries. These perplexing cases gradually unfold into a series of encounters with nightmarish entities, drawing inspiration from the terrifying creations of horror legends Junji Ito and H.P. Lovecraft.

Since its launch in Early Access, World of Horror has received overwhelmingly positive reviews. Apart from the delightful and immersive horror elements it offers, most critics have praised the game for its innovative take on turn-based combat. The gameplay loop, consisting of bite-sized scenarios that differ with each playthrough, allows players to experiment with various characters and builds. As the game has already spent considerable time in Early Access and received enough feedback, fans eagerly await the full version’s release this October.

World of Horror is now available to wishlist on Nintendo eShop for Switch users who want to be notified when it becomes available.
