The Holiday Season is coming to the World of Tanks in a Holiday Ops Event. This event will bring surprises, rewards, and more until January 9, 2023, at 07:00 CET (UTC+1). In addition, Steam players can receive a free, limited-time DLC until January 9, 2023.

World of Tanks Holiday Season
Holiday Ops 2 Event
Holiday Ops 2023 features a unique event currency called Resources. The event has four types of resources you can earn: Rock Crystal, Pure Emerald, Warm Amber, and Meteoric Iron. All your festive activities will be based on collecting and investing these resources. You can get Holiday Ops resources in the following ways:
- Collect them manually in your Village up to twice a day
- As rewards for completing Daily Missions
- In your Best Friends’ Villages once a day
- When petting your dog friend Chaffee
- As a bonus from Large Boxes
There are ten levels of Festive Atmosphere that provide you with rewards. To improve the Festive Atmosphere, you’ll need to upgrade decorative objects from Level 1 to 5 by collecting and investing your Rock Crystal and Pure Emerald.
With every new level, you’ll earn rewards, such as a festive 2D style Marks of Excellence and more. You can also make two of your friends your Best Friends so that you can visit their Village and get extra resources.
There are also opportunities for you to get extra Assignments, which are special quests that can be completed by collecting a certain amount of Warm Amber and Meteoric Iron.
By completing these Assignments, you can earn exclusive decals, other great rewards, and even increases in economic bonuses to credits and all types of experience in Random Battles.
In addition, there’s a Holiday Ops Challenge consisting of 28 Combat Missions, where you can earn additional rewards and much more.
Free Limited-Time DLC
Until January 9, 2023, Steam players can get a free, limited-time World of Tanks DLC. It contains a bunch of Holiday Ops resources and a special mission with a Tier VI Premium British Sherman VC Firefly medium tank as a reward.
Please note that you will need to log in to your Steam account, log in to the game, and complete the mission before January 21, 2023, at 09:00 UTC, to claim the Sherman VC Firefly forever!
