Wargaming is set to release the Update 12.3 of their naval warfare MMO, World of Warships. This update will bring the new Seychelles map, the return of the Dockyard, British submarines, and more. Servers will be unavailable on April 19th from 3:00 AM PT to 6:00 AM PT while Update 12.3 is being rolled out.
One of the most anticipated contents that the World of Warships Update 12.3 introduces is the new picturesque Seychelles map. This map’s landscape is inspired by the northeastern part of Seychelles, and it features the huge islands of Praslin and La Digue, as well as other lesser islands nearby. The Seychelles map is designed for Random and Co-op Battles with Tier V to IX ships. It is intended for two types of Domination mode battles, both with four Key Areas.
With the upcoming Update 12.3, the Kure Dockyard is returning to World of Warships, where players will be building a Japanese ship. Tier IX Premium battleship Daisen has been laid down on the slipways. The ship is equipped with four turrets housing eight 410 mm main battery cannons. Her guns have good accuracy and a relatively short reload time for a battleship. IX Daisen also has four quadruple-tube torpedo launchers, and her long-range torpedoes can cause significant damage.
British Submarines will also become available for all players to research when World of Warships Update 12.3 is released. This nation’s submarines are only armed with acoustic homing torpedoes that are quite quick to reload for a full salvo and have a decent range and speed. They can launch massive salvos, but the individual torpedoes don’t inflict particularly high damage. British submarines enjoy a high dive capacity, but it recharges rather slowly and also have small HP pools.
To honor the anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe, a new themed collection has been introduced to the game, called “Allied Heroes.” The collection consists of six pages, each containing two elements. The reward for completing each page is a 10-skill-point Commander of one of the Allied nations, and the reward for completing the entire collection is 3 days of Warships Premium Account.
As with previous updates, Update 12.3 offers a new Battle Pass (BP) that allows players to earn BP Points for completing daily and weekly combat missions, progress through the BP progress bar and earn a variety of rewards. The final reward of the Battle Pass includes King of the Sea and Rare Bonuses containers. In addition, the Premium Battle Pass will offer even more valuable in-game items, and its final reward is three construction phases at the Dockyard.
The new Inca Trail Adventure event will also arrive along with the release of Update 12.3. This event will tell the story of three Dutch sailors on a trip to Peru. As players progress through the adventure, they will earn Inca Tokens, which can be used for purchasing random bundles in the Armory.
