World War Z: Aftermath fans can rejoice as the Against All Odds update is now available, introducing an array of new content and features for players to enjoy. The update brings two new Horde Mode maps set in Jerusalem and New York, offering players fresh environments to test their skills against the relentless zombie hordes.
The update also adds seven new mutators for Challenge Horde Mode, increasing the variety of challenges available to players. In addition, the baton is introduced as a new melee weapon, providing more ways to fight off the undead.
For the first time in World War Z: Aftermath, players can now choose any character to play in all PvE episodes. This update also improves AI party members, who are now able to use heavy weapons when playing alongside you.
Two new paid DLC packs are available with the update: the Deadly Vice Weapon Skin Pack and Rat Packs Weapon Skins Bundle. Each DLC pack, priced at $4.99, contains four weapon skins, specifically designed with themes inspired by the big cities featured in the new Horde Mode maps.
Players on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One can unlock a bonus in-game weapon skin and an exclusive collectible trinket by registering on PROS (Prism Ray Online Services).
