For those seeking a more personalized gaming experience, the Xbox Design Lab has expanded its range of colors for the Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers. Previously, in October, the Xbox Design Lab fulfilled a top fan request by adding Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers to its customization offerings.
Now, gamers have a choice of 16 main colors for the top and back case, 12 colors for the ABXY buttons, 17 accent colors for the paddles and D-pad, and 25 accent colors for the rest of the controller. The extensive range of hues, such as Garnet Red, Glacier Blue, and Deep Pink, allows for billions of personalization possibilities. The Xbox Design Lab also offers unique customization options for the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller, including color adjustments for the thumbstick rings and base, metallic triggers, and D-pads for a premium feel.

The Microsoft Xbox Elite Series 2 controller, released on November 4, 2019, is a premium Xbox Wireless Controller that is compatible with Xbox One consoles, Windows PCs, as well as Xbox Series X and S. For those new to the Xbox Elite Series 2, the controller features adjustable-tension thumbsticks, wrap-around rubberized grips, and shorter hair trigger locks. Gamers can fine-tune their controller using the Xbox Accessories App to button map, adjust thumbsticks and triggers, and even customize the color of the Xbox button light.
For a more affordable option, the Elite Series 2 Core was released on September 21, 2022, priced at $129.99 US, which does not include the carrying case, charging dock, or customizable components. These excluded accessories can be purchased separately with the Complete Component Pack for $59.99 US.
To assist gamers in customizing their controllers, the Xbox Design Lab offers the Inspired By collection, which features designs created in collaboration with various game studios. This provides an excellent starting point for creating a controller inspired by favorite characters or franchises.
The latest expansion of color options for the Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers with the Xbox Design Lab starts at $149.99, giving gamers the opportunity to create a unique and personalized gaming experience.
