The Game Pass subscription frequently adds new content, and they’ve just revealed some upcoming releases that will roll out throughout May 2022.

Here’s the official tweet, showing off some fairly big franchises:

There is a much smaller scale for the titles that round out this month’s Game Pass releases, and they are a little older. But some of these sleeper hits deserve more attention, and the subscription continues to earn its value.

Today’s Releases

There are five new games that will be available to play today, including Her Story, Jurassic World Evolution 2, Little Witch in the Woods, Skate and Umurangi Generation Special Edition.

The range is much wider on this end of May, between the mystery classic Her Story and a giant franchise like Jurassic World.

With the latest movie coming out next month, Jurassic fans will definitely enjoy checking out the hit sequel if they missed its original release last year. However, newcomers should be warned that there’s definitely more strategy than it seems.

And although Skate released ages ago, it holds up as a staple of the skateboarding genre thanks to its mechanics. Fans are still awaiting a direct sequel, Skate 4, especially after Pro Skater was remastered.

Upcoming Release Breakdown

May 19th will release two games, Farming Simulator 22 and Vampire Survivors, and they couldn’t be more different. But the variety between detailed task management and wild roguelike shooting offers something for everyone.

Floppy Knights and Hardspace: Shipbreaker will become available on May 24th, Sniper Elite 5 releases on May 26th. The final games will be Pac-Man Museum+ and Cricket 22, on May 27th.

Sniper Elite has managed a surprising longevity, despite providing many realistic features right from the beginning. The series mainly survived by changing with the times, such as adding open-world gameplay.

Meanwhile, fans of old-school arcade games should enjoy the collection of 14 different games in Pac-Man Museum+.
