Xbox’s official Twitter account has just announced how they will be celebrating APIHM in at least six different ways for May 2022.

The gaming industry has a powerful ability to unify people and represent diversity, allowing gamers of any age to find themselves and others in entertainment.
Xbox has proven that it’s willing to take on these responsibilities for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage month, approaching the celebration in basically every platform they provide.
Xbox APIHM events for 2022
To begin with, the Microsoft Rewards Program in the US will feature three relevant and crucial organizations for the celebrated communities. These include Asian Americans Advancing Justice, AAPI Equity Alliance, and Stop AAPI Hate, which users will have the chance to easily donate to.
Next, the official Xbox Twitch channel will showcase a few different popular streamers and games that represent Asian and Pacific Islander heritage. On May 5th, actor and stuntman Yoshi Sudarso will be playing the indie hit Pummel Party.
The Xbox Ambassadors platform invited Asian and Pacific Islander players to share how representation in the gaming industry has affected them. Their stories were just released today, and can be found here.
Similarly, the communities selected certain games with good representation for the Microsoft Store, considering both the characters and creators. These selections include Life is Strange: True Colors, Sable, Hoa, Apex Legends, and Elden Ring.
For anyone who wants to express their identity, Xbox is offering new options for your gamerpic, profile theme, and avatar. And lastly, any fans of Halo Infinite will enjoy 343’s exclusive nameplate and emblem for season two, which launches on May 3rd.
