The developers of Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel have announced the termination of the game’s services on September 4, 2023, at 5:00 (UTC). Since its launch in July 2022, the game has enjoyed immense support from players around the world, offering real-time duels in a new style of card game that captivated fans of the series.

In their statement, the developers expressed their gratitude to the players:

Thank you for playing Yu-Gi-Oh! CROSS DUEL. Since our launch in July 2022, we have been blessed with great support from many players. It is with heavy hearts that we will be ending service at 5:00 (UTC) on Monday, September 4, 2023. In addition, we will be ending all sales of Crystals after this announcement. We couldn’t have made it this far without your support. Although there is only a short time left until the end of service, we are planning to launch various events and campaigns to express our gratitude.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel allowed players to engage in three different modes: 4 Player Match Mode, Single Player Mode, and 4 Player Co-op Mode. The game featured characters from seven different animated Yu-Gi-Oh! series, all voiced by the original cast, which added a dramatic flair to duels. The game also boasted impressive 3D-rendered monsters with awe-inspiring summoning scenes and a wide range of powerful skills for customization, allowing players to create unique decks.

As the game approaches its end, the developers plan to launch various events and campaigns to thank players for their support. Fans are encouraged to make the most of the remaining time and enjoy the innovative gameplay that Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel has to offer.
