If you’re interested in pinball or just want to do something good, then the latest release from Zen Studios is just up your corner. The Pinball FX – Charity Pack is a two-for-one deal that gives you pinball games while simultaneously supporting two worthy causes. I’m not a pinball fan, but I think the causes are worth it.

For €4.99, the Pinball FX – Charity Pack includes two exciting pinball tables: Epic Quest and Excalibur. When you purchase, 50% of the proceeds go towards Project Pinball, a US-based non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the joy of pinball to children’s hospitals, Ronald McDonald Houses, and assisted living facilities. The remaining half will benefit the Budapest Pinball Museum, Europe’s largest interactive pinball museum, which has over 160 playable machines.

Project Pinball was founded in 2011. They have placed pinball machines in medical and care facilities across the United States, providing much-needed recreational relief to patients, families, and staff. These vibrant machines offer a welcome distraction from the stress of illness and hospitalization, fostering social interaction and promoting physical activity.

The Budapest Pinball Museum, established in 2014, takes a different approach to preserving pinball history. By showcasing an extensive collection of pinball and arcade machines, the museum offers a glimpse into the evolution of these pinball machines and games. This is a unique museum because you can admire the technology and artistry of the machines and play them yourself.

I think this is unique because I’ve never heard of Project Pinball before, but their cause is very worthy. The price is cheap, so this is a great way to help those who need it and help an industry that undoubtedly had something to do with creating the video game industry we all love today.
