Supporting Steam is definitely a big move for Pinball FX. It won’t just broaden the fanbase, but also open the door for Steam Deck gameplay. The casual tone and replay value of Pinball FX would make it a perfect addition to the device.

Although pinball might seem a little too old school, there’s a definite charm that is very appealing. And perhaps the most notable thing about Pinball FX is all of the IP it has explored.

It includes everything from the most popular to the most obscure movies, shows, and video games like Star Wars or Creature from the Black Lagoon. So, no matter what fandom you belong to, you have a very good chance of finding it in Pinball FX, or at least in its future. And seeing how Pinball FX translates those familiar worlds with pinball mechanics is simply a very fun novelty.

Today’s new tables are Fish Tales, Sorcerer’s Lair, Crypt of the NecroDancer, Twilight Zone, and Godzilla vs. Kong, and the last two are surely highlights.

The Twilight Zone remains beloved for its brilliant social commentary and light horror, while Godzilla vs. Kong really embraced the genre with big silly fun. Both of them have a lot of iconic visuals and characters that could feel larger than life in Pinball FX.
