ALIEN Might Be Coming in Dead By Daylight’s Next Chapter

According to rumors online, the next Dead By Daylight killer might very well be the iconic Xenomorph from ALIEN.
Dead By Daylight Alien Rumor

Great news for fans of Ridley Scott’s legendary film franchise; Fans of Dead By Daylight and the Alien franchise have potentially found a hint suggesting that the titular Alien might be featured as the new killer in the upcoming Dead By Daylight Sixth Anniversary chapter.

The rumor that the famous alien hunter, the Xenomorph, might be coming to the game comes from Dead By Daylight’s 6th anniversary promotional banner. On the banner, we can see a hooded figure screaming into the shadows, posed in a way that feels deliberate and similar. This seems to hint at the Xenomorph being our next killer.

This might seem like a stretch, but if this is a hint to our next killer, it wouldn’t be out of character behavior from the Dead By Daylight team. During the game’s fourth anniversary, the number 4 was positioned in a way that reminded some players of Pyramid Head, the iconic Silent Hill character who was then added to the game in the anniversary chapter.

If the Xenomorph is indeed our newest Dead By Daylight killer, it’ll be interesting to see how the DbD team translates the alien’s fantasy into fittingly horrifying gameplay.

Also, as mentioned in our previous post, another Dead By Daylight leak suggests that the next killer will be able to interact with lockers. If this is the case, I’m curious to see in what ways the Xenomorph interacts with the locker system. Perhaps she can lay face-hugger traps for unwitting survivors to stumble upon?

Whatever the case, I’m certainly excited for the upcoming Dead By Daylight anniversary event, which brings new challenges, a new killer and a new survivor to the asymmetrical horror game.
