Twitter user @LeaksDbd posted a potential leak with information on the new killer and survivor coming to Dead By Daylight. The Twitter account, which is not affiliated with Dead By Daylight or BHVR Interactive officially, focuses on sharing leaked Dead By Daylight content that has not yet been released with its’ audience.
According to DBDLeaks, the upcoming anniversary chapter (which should release sometime in June) will feature a new killer and survivor. Furthermore, DBDLeaks revealed some information about the abilities of these new playable characters.
According to the alleged leak, the new survivor will be an original character named Haddie Kaur. Kaur is a surname originating from India, implying that this character may originate from there. It is also a feminine name, meaning we can speculate that the character will be female-identifying.
Also according to the leak, Haddie will have perks allowing her to blind the killer, possibly interacting with flashlights and fire crackers.
The alleged leak also talks about the upcoming killer’s power, saying that they will be able to use it to enter and exit or otherwise interact with lockers. This could be a potentially interesting power, and makes me imagine a sort of Jack-In-The-Box-themed killer.
Also according to the tweet, the killer’s perk is somehow related to pallets. What this means is unclear, but I imagine this perk will add some pallet stun resistance to the killer roster.
DBDLeaks also says that the upcoming chapter won’t be related to FNAF. This news must surely be a downer for some players, as a large part of the community has been asking for the iconic killer Springtrap to be added to the game in a Five Nights At Freddy’s chapter. If we’re to believe this alleged leak, it won’t be this one.
