All Races in Hollowed
The races in Hollowed offer a variety of passive and active skills, influencing combat, exploration, and survival. Understanding each race’s strengths and progression path is key to maximizing your potential. Some races are rarer than others, making them more challenging to obtain via the roll of gacha. The roll chances for each race can change depending on your current race, as you cannot reroll the same race consecutively.

Refur: The Wolf Race (16% Chance)

Racial Progression
- Hunter Instinct: Requires 1 grip.
- Better Hunter: Deal 50,000 damage.
- Hunter Mode: Requires 150 grips of any kind.
- Howl: Use Hunter Instinct for an hour.
Abilities – Skills and Passives
- Active Skills:
- Hunter Instinct: See players and NPC monsters through walls within a certain range, at the cost of hunger. Grants movement speed, attack speed, but reduces defense. Activates a red eye glow.
- Hunter Mode: Revive with 20% HP after being downed, but only once per day. Grants life steal based on damage dealt (up to a cap), but reduces damage and speed while increasing hunger drain. Eye color changes from white (low life steal) to red (high life steal). This skill is highlighted blue in your inventory.
- Howl: Emits a howl that briefly stuns enemies (stun duration equivalent to one M1 attack).

Afterward, transforms into a “broken eclipse,” losing racial abilities for 1 hour. Using Sacrifice again in broken eclipse form costs 1 life and grants 2x damage and defense buffs.
- Sacrifice (1 Life): Grants stronger buffs, then causes the user to explode into a statue, dealing massive damage and dying.
- Passive Skills:
- Moonlight: Grants buffs when exposed to moonlight.
