In Anime Defenders, players can enhance the capabilities of their units beyond leveling through a system called Traits. These Traits are special passive effects that grant units additional benefits. This guide explains all the Traits in Anime Defenders and what they do, along with the chances of rolling on it.

Understanding the various Traits available in Anime Defenders and how they can impact your units is crucial for victory, especially in hard mode or completing challenges. Here are all the traits in Anime Defenders and what they do, starting with the best and ending with the worst:

  • Almighty 1
    • +280% Unit damage
    • 15% Move cooldown
    • +10% Unit range
    • 1 Placement cap
      • 0.1% chance
  • Requiem 1
    • +20% Damage
    • +20% Range
    • 10% Move cooldown
      • 0.2% chance
  • Precision 1
    • +30% Crit chance
    • +30% Crit damage
      • 0.8% chance
  • Sonic 1
    • Decreases move cooldown by 20%
      • 1% chance
  • Midas Touch 1
    • Increases wave farm money earned by 15%
      • 1.5% chance
  • Bullseye 1
    • Increases unit range by 25%

How to Get and Reroll Traits in Anime Defenders

To get Traits in Anime Defenders, you must first get Trait Crystals, as without these, getting Traits is impossible. Second, you must go into the summoning area and look to your left to find Trait Reroll. Here, interact with the blue circle by pressing E. Select your unit, and then press the purple Reroll button.

Your unit will then be given a trait that appears on the right of the unit avatar. If you don’t like that trait or its low rarity, just simply click on Reroll again if you have the Trait Crystals, which are displayed above the Reroll button.
