Anime Defenders Star Rift Guide

To get Star Rifts, no matter the color—Red, Green, Blue, Purple, Yellow, Rainbow, Dark, or Light— in Anime Defenders, you need to complete Challenges, so head to the Challenges room. Every hour, three new challenges rotate in, each offering a chance to win various rewards, including Star Rifts.

New Star Rifts get added quite often in updates of Anime Defenders; the recent ones have been Dark and Light. But luckily, the developers of AD have not changed how they are acquired. You still need to complete challenges, but the new ones have a 5% chance of getting it as a possible reward.

  • Star Rift Yellow – 2x Drop Rate
  • Star Rift Blue – 50% Drop Rate
  • Star Rift Green – 50% Drop Rate
  • Star Rift Purple – 50% Drop Rate
  • Star Rift Red – 50% Drop Rate
  • Star Rift Dark – 5% Drop Rate
  • Star Rift Light – 5% Drop Rate
  • Star Rift Rainbow – 5% Drop Rate

Challenges and rewards are not static; they change upon the hourly refresh. Sometimes, all challenges will offer Star Rifts as a reward, and other times, they’ll only be Gems and Food offered.

As of now, completing Challenges seems to be the only way to grab Star Rifts. Don’t expect them as quest rewards, daily or weekly. Story Mode won’t give them up, either. But hey, there’s always hope! Future features like Raids might add them as rewards.

What Are Star Rifts?
