Wan

As a long-time player, I must admit Wan has impressed me the most. This exclusive unit, only acquirable from the Overhaul boss, reigns supreme in Update 1. Not only does Wan boost all attacks by 20%, but he also reduces incoming damage by 20%. And the cherry on top? A nifty 15% XP boost for special attacks.

Boro

If champions had an MVP, it’d be Boro. His overpowering abilities justify his “secret unit” title. Without even being shiny, Boro trains 40% in Chakra, Durability, and Strength. And once you unveil the shiny Boro? Well, brace yourself for astonishing gains. What’s more, there’s a 15% chance Boro will unleash a ground-shaking roar when struck. It’s no wonder I’ve been relying on him in numerous battles.

Mada

Mada’s mythical status is very much lived up to, considering how amazing he is. Offering a 25% boost to all Chakra attacks, an increase of 25% to HP, and slashing 25% off all ability cooldowns, Mada stands tall among champions. Most attacks that deal significant damage to bosses are Chakra-based, making Mada a truly sought after champion.

Navi

Navi is S tier because of her special ability to get 50 Yen per minute, but this can be increased by your level and your rank.

Thor

Thord is a legit amazing champion; he boosts 35% extra damage for Swords and 35% extra damage for Strength, and if your health is below 50%, you will deal twice as much damage, which basically is like combining Quake and Might.

Anime Fighting Simulator X Best Champions Tier List FAQ

How do the Tiers Work?

The tiers rank clans from the best to just okay. Here’s the lowdown:

  • S-Tier: These are the best-of-the-best and likely overpowered. If you get one of these, you should keep it and not change anything.
  • A-Tier: These are outstanding performers and would be a great addition to your character. Due to the rarity of an S-Tier, it might be better to just hold onto one of these because the other ones are so hard to get.
  • B-Tier: Can be good for a while, but you will likely want to upgrade these at some point.
  • C-Tier: While not great, it still at least provides a perk that could be useful to your character.
  • D-Tier: Worst of the worst and provides no benefit. Should be spun away as soon as possible.

How were the Rankings Decided?

Making this list, we mixed our own playtime with what other players are saying. We aim for a list that’s useful for all kinds of players. So, we also listen to what the game’s community thinks.
