How to Get Ghost Essence in Anime Last Stand
You have two options for getting your hands on Ghost Essence in Anime Last Stand. You can either earn it by taking on a challenging new Legend stage or trade with other players who already have some. These are the only ways to acquire this special essence, so focus on these methods if you want to evolve those new units!
Method 1: Conquering Thriller Bark
Ghost Essence is a reward for completing the brand-new Legend Stages called Thriller Bark. This stage is divided into three Acts – Act 1, Act 2, and Act 3. Each time you conquer an Act, you’ll receive Ghost Essence.
The amount you get increases with each Act’s difficulty: Acts 1 and 2 will reward you with 1 to 5 Ghost Essence while conquering the more challenging Act 3 can net you a larger haul of 5 to 15 Ghost Essence. Since evolving most of the new units requires a decent amount of Ghost Essence, you’ll likely want to focus your efforts on tackling Act 3 for the biggest rewards, but be prepared for a tough fight!
Remember, Legend Stages are always set to Purgatory difficulty, so make sure your team is strong enough before attempting it. As an extra incentive, there’s a small chance (2%) that you might also obtain the powerful unit Gecko upon completing Thriller Bark.
Method 2: Trading for Ghost Essence
You can trade Ghost Essence with other players in Anime Last Stand. The Anime Last Stand Discord server is a great place to connect with people who might be willing to part with some Ghost Essence in exchange for something they need. If you have a second account that has been diligently farming Ghost Essence (maybe using tools like TinyClicker!), you can even trade it directly to your main account.
What Is Ghost Essence Used For in Anime Last Stand?
Ghost Essence has one specific purpose within the game: evolving the new Halloween units. Similar to Pumpkin Essence from a previous Halloween event, it’s likely that Ghost Essence is only available for a limited time. Once the Halloween festivities are over, you might not be able to get any more. However, since this essence is obtained through a permanent Legend Stage, there’s a chance it might stick around even after the event ends.
