Epic Games has continued to surprise everyone with the seemingly endless collaborations with other media franchises in Fortnite. It was leaked after the v25.30 update that there was a large new collaboration likely in the files, with one data miner attributing it to another Terminator collab, and now those same data miners are alleging it’s leaked.
A recent tweet from Fortnite data miner and content creator HYPEX shows images that he claims are of a new Terminator skin inspired by the younger Arnold Schwarzenegger in the first movie. The skin shows a leather jacket and jean-wearing cyborg called Terminator, with the famous movie quote “Come with me if you want to live.” as the description.
In addition to the standard Terminator skin, it also comes with a metallic pinata that’s classic to Fortnite, called the Skynet Llama. There also seems to be some kind of drone-inspired glider from the movies called the HK-Aerial, helping to round out the character’s set. A new Fortnite Terminator collab was previously suggested by ShiinaBR on Twitter due to a repeated Item Shop tab.
Shortly after the image was leaked above, a video was shown scrolling through the current Item Shop before landing on the alleged Terminator skin.
This is not confirmed at all as concepts and skins have been created that look exceptionally realistic. If it does turn out to be fake, the Skynet Llama was a nice touch in that it seems like something Epic would definitely do. Regardless, Shiina believes that the new Terminator collaboration is in the game currently, which usually means it would release in the two weeks between content updates.
We’ll likely know by the end of next week whether or not this new Terminator collab will be released in Fortnite or if it was a clever fake.
