Montreal-based video game developer, Behaviour Interactive, renowned for the creation of Dead by Daylight, has announced its latest milestone – the successful acquisition of Codeglue, an award-winning video game studio headquartered in the Netherlands. This strategic move marks Behaviour Interactive’s third expansion into Europe in the last six months, following the acquisition of Behaviour UK – North and the establishment of Behaviour UK – South.
Codeglue has been active in the video game industry since 2000. The studio is recognized for its specialization in co-development projects across different gaming platforms. Their achievements culminated in winning the prestigious Best Studio award at the 2022 Dutch Game Awards. Following the acquisition, Codeglue will now operate under the name Behaviour Rotterdam, symbolizing its integration into Behaviour Interactive.

Peter de Jong, one of Codeglue’s founders, who will serve as the General Manager of Behaviour Rotterdam, also expressed enthusiasm for the acquisition.
