Behaviour Interactive has made a significant announcement today, unveiling a series of exciting projects that will expand the world of Dead by Daylight and delve deeper into The Entity’s Realms. This announcement follows closely on the heels of Dead by Daylight‘s recent 7th Anniversary celebration.

In a new video posted on Dead by Daylight‘s official YouTube channel, it becomes apparent that the popular asymmetrical survival horror game will soon expand its influence across multiple entertainment mediums. Two months ago, Behaviour Interactive revealed their collaboration with Atomic Monster and Blumhouse to produce a thrilling movie adaptation of Dead by Daylight. Now, the studio has taken things even further, announcing two upcoming titles set within DbD‘s world, along with a comic series inspired by the video game.

According to Behaviour Interactive, the two new titles will cater to both fans and newcomers alike. The first title is a brand new single-player interactive story game in development with Supermassive Games, the renowned studio behind Until Dawn, The Dark Pictures Anthology, and The Quarry. The story is set outside of The Entity’s Realm, and follow an entirely new cast of characters as they embark on an unprecedented journey beyond The Fog. Later this year, additional information about this upcoming title is expected to be revealed.

Meanwhile, the second title is currently being developed by Midwinter Entertainment, who recently joined the Behaviour Interactive family in the summer of 2022. This game is revealed to be a multiplayer PVE game with teams of up to 4 players.

Regarding the anticipated Dead by Daylight comic book series, the first issue, which will be published in collaboration with Titan Comics and will focus on the dark origins of The Legion, will be made available in early June.

Although this isn’t the first time Behaviour Interactive has attempted to expand DbD’s reach, having previously released a mobile game, board game, and the Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim, this latest announcement undoubtedly marks an exciting new chapter in the game’s evolution. With the developers branching out into new directions, fans are eagerly anticipating the thrilling adventures that await them in the future.
