In Hearthstone, the most exciting times are when a new expansion is being released, because a bunch of fresh new decks are hitting the ladder and attempting to be crafted. United in Stormwind will hopefully continue this trend by bringing new mechanics into the game, which includes the new questline cards. This isn’t the same as the quests you played in the past, because you will need to complete three different tasks to unlock an extremely powerful reward! We’ll be taking a look at which of these decks are jumping to the top of the meta in this post.
While the questlines are the big showy mechanic being added to Hearthstone in United in Stormwind, there’s also the Tradeable keyword. This one can be a bit confusing, but if you are in a situation where a card that has Tradeable isn’t useful, you can “trade” it into your deck for 1-mana and draw a new card. This makes cards that have this keyword a lot more flexible, and will hopefully have you getting something more useful for the current boardstate!

Best United in Stormwind Deck Lists
We will be listing all of the top meta decks from the new United in Stormwind Hearthstone expansion below. Keep in mind that when a new set is released, there’s a lot of volatility in the early stages of the meta. You might find that one deck is strong early, but it will drop down the list due to an unrefined meta.
Right now the best decks in the United in Stormwind meta appear to be Handbuff Paladin, Face Hunter, Elemental Shaman, Zoolock, Deathrattle Demon Hunter, and Quest Mage. It’s still early in the meta, so expect some changes to occur. Based on the tweet from Alec Dawson, Lead Designer on Hearthstone, there will be no changes this week.
Demon Hunter Decks
While the Demon Hunter class dominated for a while when it was first released, it has had its struggles in the recent meta. The Deathrattle archetype has held the class up so far, but unfortunately the Questline version has faltered in the current meta.

Druid is looking pretty shaky, but the aggro variant is a steady performer as of now. The Quest does work as an option, but it struggles against Paladin, which is one of the more popular classes.

Hunter Decks

Mage Decks
Mage continues to roll without minions to some success, and the new questline Sorcerer's Gambit has bolstered the power of the deck. While this is a polarizing list due to its solitare-esque nature, it does get punished by aggro decks pretty hard.
Questline Mage (Budget!)
While this version only has four Epics and one Legendary, it is still one of the highest win-rate lists for the archetype!

Paladin Decks
Secret Paladin has made its triumphant return to Standard in the previous meta and it remains a strong option for the class. However, the standout deck for Paladin is Handbuff. It is likely the best list right now, and has good matchups across the board, with only Quest Mage being a struggle.

Priest Decks
Priest ate a couple of nerfs in the end of the last meta which crippled the class and brought it down in playability. Deck options are pretty slim, with only Menagerie Priest seeing much play. There is hope coming in United in Stormwind, with the introduction of Darkbishop Benedictus, which can hopefully bring Shadow Priest into the meta.
Things were looking grim for Priest, but things perked up when Zetalot crafted an aggressive version that has since been refined into a pretty good deck.
Aggro Shadow Priest
This is a slightly different version of the list that Zetalot was using. Looks to be more refined with some small cuts and replacements.

Shaman Decks
Shaman was one of the dominant classes towards the end of the Forged in the Barrens meta. Elemental Shaman took the ladder by storm, with two different versions competing for supremacy. One runs the Doomhammer combo package, and the other is more midrange/minion based. This is still the case in the United in Stormwind meta.

Warlock Decks
Warlock is another class that had it rough in the previous meta. Not even Zoo could keep the class afloat, and the only list it had going for it was just okay at best. United in Stormwind has brought Zoo back into the fold, and you can run it as a more aggressive option or throw the quest in it!

Warrior Decks
Warrior fell back into its aggro ways, but had a glimmer of hope with Control Warrior seeing some play towards the end of the meta. In the new expansion, it looks like Blizzard is pushing them back into the Pirate theme, due to the questline Raid the Docks. Going aggressive continues to work for the class, but not much else has picked up so far.
