Pokemon Scarlet and Violet bring some new additions to the game, which means there’s a lot of new pocket monsters out there that can be collected and battled against. Chi-Yu Weaknesses
Chi-Yu is a Dark and Fire-type Pokemon, which means they have weaknesses to Fighting, Ground, Rock, and Water-type moves. It has an immunity to Psychic, but is resistant to Ghost, Steel, Fire, Grass, Ice, and Dark-type attacks.
While any Fighting, Ground, Rock, and Water-type moves will be sufficient to finish off Chi-Yu, you will want to focus on Physical Attack moves if you have them. Chi-Yu has higher Special Defense, which means you will have much better luck using Physical Attacks.
As for specific Pokemon you want to avoid bringing into battle against Chi-Yu, you will want to make sure to leave Ghost, Psychic, Bug, Grass, Ice, and Steel out. They all have at least one weakness to Chi-Yu’s attacks. Chi-Yu might also be carrying a Flying move, so be careful of that when battling.
