The VR military arcade shooter, Crossfire: Sierra Squad, is set to be released on August 29th, for PlayStation VR2 SteamVR. Developed and published by Smilegate Entertainment, Crossfire: Sierra Squad promises to deliver a variety of fierce battle scenes as players lead an elite fireteam in heart-pounding 360° action.
In Crossfire: Sierra Squad, players will step into the role of an elite paramilitary fireteam leader operating within the Global Risk organization. As the narrative unfolds, players will find themselves entangled in an unexpected clash with the rival Black List organization. A mysterious and significant threat looms large, demanding the player’s expertise to unveil the truth behind it all. As players embark on a relentless search for the truth, players will battle a variety of crafty enemies and prove their worth as the intrepid leader of the most feared special unit, Sierra Squad.
Crossfire: Sierra Squad boasts cutting-edge visuals, featuring high-quality character designs, detailed maps, and smooth movement, elevating the Crossfire gaming experience within the VR realm. Players will engage in intense paramilitary action between the rival factions of Black List and Global Risk, venturing through various indoor and outdoor environments in a series of gripping missions. Whether in solo play or cooperative play, the game offers 50 squad missions, 13 campaign missions, and an adrenaline-pumping Horde Mode for up to four players.
Crossfire: Sierra Squad offers an extensive arsenal with 39 types of weapons, including pistols, rifles, grenades, and sniper rifles with revolutionary scope mechanics to give players plenty of options to dispatch 17 types of enemies. Players will also be able to engage with heavy artillery such as helicopters and LAV’s in full 360° VR space. Crossfire: Sierra Squad allows players to team up with up to three friends for large-scale co-op play, making the experience even more thrilling and dynamic.
