Cursed to Golf was announced in 2021, but we now know that it will be coming to Xbox based on an announcement made by ID@Xbox. Players familiar with the mobile game Super Stickman Golf, will recognize some similarities in this game. You will get cards that you can use to change up your abilities, and use them to avoid traps. The big difference here is that there’s a full-fledged story, and you aren’t just avoiding water hazards, you are avoiding death!

Here’s the official description of the game:

Cursed to Golf is a golf-like adventure where every shot counts. Players are tasked with making it out of Golf Purgatory to become a Golfing Legend. With insane hazards, otherworldly power-ups and tons of replayability, will you make it back alive or will you forever be… Cursed to Golf!?

If you’re a fan of the roguelite genre, then this is definitely a new twist to it by adding it into a golf environment. You will be potentially locked in a purgatory of death while you play what is supposed to be a simple game. Dodge your way through a variety of traps and hazards as you try to go under par while staying alive! Watch some of the game play in the trailer below.
