According to a recent report by well-known dataminer, Billbil-kun, it appears that the sequel to the hit 2021 racing game by Milestone, Hot Wheels Unleashed, has been leaked. The leaked information even provides details regarding the standard, deluxe, and legendary editions of this alleged sequel.
Rumors have been circulating about the possibility of a follow-up to Hot Wheels Unleashed, after an image of a Hot Wheels car, supposed to be a toy exclusive to GameStop, surfaced on Instagram. The vehicle in question seems to be a special Twin Mill model, bearing the branding “Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 Turbocharged.” The post came out just a few days after the announcement that Hot Wheels Unleashed has sold over two million copies, becoming Milestone’s best-selling game to date.
Recently, Billbil-kun stated that the speculations are true, as per an unnamed source. The leaker further disclosed that the sequel will indeed be titled “Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 Turbocharged” and will continue to be published by Milestone. Additionally, it has been reported that the game will be available in Standard, Deluxe, and Legendary Editions, each of which will offer the following pre-order bonuses:
