Featured Diablo Immortal Announcement

Do you guys not have phones?“, is a quote that has gone down in gaming infamy, with the Blizzard developers desperately defending the announcement of their new mobile Diablo game known as, Diablo Immortal. While it has mostly been forgotten about since the infamous announcement at 2018’s BlizzCon, it has still been in development and appears to be possibly going to be released soon.

Blizzard has deployed their well-known announcement of the announcement strategy, and have revealed that there will be some big news about Diablo Immortal on April 25th, 2022 at 7:30am ET. While it hasn’t been confirmed yet, it seems very likely that they will finally be announcing when the game will be released.

While it has largely stayed out of the spotlight, the game has been in and out of beta testing since October 28th, 2021. It was available for Android in Australia, Canada, Korea, Japan, and China. On March 28th, 2022 the game started taking pre-orders on iOS devices via the App Store. Pre-registration had begun previously for Android.

The game’s story will take place between Diablo 2 and Diablo 3, and will feature a roster of well-known classes with the likes of Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard all being available to play.

The game may have been revealed to trepidation, it could end up being a welcome addition to Blizzard’s catalogue. Mobile gaming has done nothing but increase in popularity since the announcement, and a well-made Diablo game to take on the go could be exactly what we asked for.
