Disney Speedstorm, the popular kart racing game from Gameloft, has announced that Daisy Duck will join the game for a Time Limited Event during Season 3. Today’s reveal was accompanied by a gameplay trailer, showing off Daisy Duck’s design, abilities, and themed kart.
The paid version of Disney Speedstorm is available now on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. The full release expected to go free-to-play on September 28th, 2023. You can watch today’s new Daisy Duck trailer on the game’s official YouTube channel:
Disney Speedstorm has really been ramping up its marketing for Season 3, which is currently set to launch next week on August 1st, 2023. The devs recently announced a series of Lilo & Stitch-themed characters that will be added to the roster next season, including Angel, Captain Gantu and more.
Daisy Duck has a terrific design in today’s trailer, both refined and colorful, representing her classic personality well. The bright and upbeat dialogue is also spot on. Daisy’s abilities will reference her performances with spotlights and singing, but they don’t have a name just yet.
Daisy Duck is a natural addition following the Minnie Mouse announcement, since they’re famous best friends. It’s hard to imagine the Disney Speedstorm roster growing any further, especially so close to the new season, but at this pace there’s still time for another surprise or two.
Now is an ideal time to check out Disney Speedstorm, since Xbox Wire posted a new tweet today announcing that it would be one of the titles for Free Play Days this weekend. Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will get to dive in until July 30th, at 11:59 PM.
