Pokemon Scarlet and Violet bring some new additions to the game, which means there’s a lot of new pocket monsters out there that can be collected and battled against. When battling against certain Pokemon, it’s unclear what type they are initially, so learning which moves you should use is very important! Dugtrio Weaknesses
Dugtrio is a Ground-type Pokemon, which means they have weaknesses to Grass, Ice, Water-type moves. It is immune to Electric, but it is resistant to Normal, Flying, Rock, Bug, Steel, Psychic, Dragon, Fairy attacks.
While any Grass, Ice, Water-type moves will be sufficient to finish of Dugtrio, you will want to focus on Physical Attacks moves if you have them. Dugtrio has higher Special Defense, which means you will have much better luck using Physical Attacks.
As for specific Pokemon you want to avoid bringing into battle against Dugtrio, you will want to make sure to leave Electric, Fire, Poison, Rock, Steel-types out. They all have at least one weakness to Dugtrio’s attacks. Dugtrio also carries Rock moves, so be careful with Bug, Fire, Flying, Ice Pokemon.
