Aquiris Game Studio, or AQUIRIS, the Brazilian game studio responsible for many titles, such as the recently released Wonderbox: The Adventure Maker and Horizon Chase Turbo, revealed that the studio received an investment from Epic Games.
According to the announcement post made by the studio on its official site, the investment also marks the start of a “multi-game publishing agreement for future unannounced multiplatform games”. Also, according to the studio representatives, the new partnership will help shape Aquiris Game Studio’s next 15 years. Aquiris Game Studio celebrated its 15th anniversary on February 7th, 2022.
In the official post, Aquiris Game Studio’s CEO Mauricio Longoni also revealed his optimism regarding the future of the studio. You can check out Longoni’s full statement below:

The announcement also featured a statement by Hector Sanchez, Epic Games’ head of third-party publishing, who will also join AQUIRIS’ board of directors as part of the partnership. Aquiris Game Studio was founded in 2007 in Porto Alegre – RS. As we said above, the studio is responsible for games such as Wonderbox: The Adventure Maker, a mobile game released on March 26, 2021, and the critically acclaimed arcade racing series Horizon Chase. Their most known project is 2018’s acclaimed Horizon Chase Turbo, an enhanced version of Horizon Chase, featuring enhanced graphics and updated visuals among many other new features.
You can currently test out your racing skills on Horizon Chase Turbo on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC – on Steam, Nuuvem, and on the Epic Games Store. Wonderbox: The Adventure Maker, on the other hand, is currently available exclusively for Apple Arcade.
