Tours and Tournaments: Crusader Kings III

Crusader Kings III has proven to be a very successful sim and strategy game set in the Middle Ages, thanks to its sprawling mechanics that allow an unusual level of freedom. Middle Age tournaments in other realms will be a great way to reinforce immersion, and they’ve been a famous aspect of life in countless movies or series. Despite a new teaser, Tours and Tournaments didn’t get a release window.

Across the Obelisk: The Wolf Wars

This roguelite deckbuilder, developed by Dreamsite Games, has received lots of praise for its remarkable volume of content and elements from Slay the Spire. The new DLC will explore an entirely new story on March 30th, 2023.

Europa Universalis IV Domination

Europa Universalis IV launched so many years ago, it’s a testament to the game’s quality that it’s still successful in the busy sim strategy genre. The consistent DLC has played a large role in that success, and last year’s Lions of the North expansion was one of the most praised and ambitious updates yet.

Domination is going to make the game more global, exploring Spain, France and more. A release date and gameplay weren’t revealed, unfortunately.

Stellaris First Contact

Stellaris managed to balance more profound themes with personal and grounded narratives. The new cinematic trailer for new First Contact DLC feels just as epic and intimate. First Contact arrives surprisingly soon on March 14th, 2023.

Surviving the Aftermath Rebirth

This was certainly a highlight of the DLC reveals today. Surviving the Aftermath largely succeeded as a post-apocalyptic city builder by theme alone, but its mechanics are solid too. While a release date wasn’t announced in today’s show, the official Steam page plans on March 16th, 2023.
