Forspoken is an action-based, role-playing game, which follows the journey of Frey, who has been transported to the land of Athia, where she has to use her magical powers to get back home. Altered Ilingoceros Mutant Guide
You can engage with the Altered Ilingoceros by heading to Dead Man’s Ledge in Cipal or Tanta’s Demesne in Visoria. It is a heavy attacker with lots of health, like the Altered Mylodon, but its attacks are not quite as precise or as damaging, but the Altered Ilingoceros has better movement so be cautious and don’t get cocky. If you don’t love evading for most of the battle, you’ll want to wait until you’ve progressed through more of the story and have upgraded your gear and/or obtained Sila’s Red Magic.
How to defeat Altered Ilingoceros in Forspoken
The main tactic of the fight is to avoid the Altered Ilingoceros’ damaging attacks and to keep your distance by utilizing Blast Slice, which is a ranged fire magic spell. You can also use Frey’s magic like Tendril and Bind to help prevent the boss from getting close to her during the battle.
Be prepared to take damage because the Altered Ilingoceros has an unblockable attack where it leaps and pounds the ground, and you’ll want to use Flow to move away as much as you can. For defeating the Altered Ilingoceros, you’ll receive four Lambert Garlands.
When battling the Altered Ilingoceros in Tanta’s Demesne, you will also have to defeat Ilingoceros and Ramoceros, which are countered well with Prav’s Magic.
Don’t forget to have Healing Draughts on hand to ensure you can heal yourself during battle!
