Every time that it seems like players are surprised by the IPs that Epic Games is able to bring to Fortnite, the team manages to add something genuinely surprising. There have been leaks about Doctor Who coming to Fortnite late this year, but news from a leaker who has become prophetic in recent days states that the event has been pushed for the LEGO event.

The information leaked by BarbieharpFN was compiled by iFireMonkey on Twitter, who stated some of the important details like it is still expected to happen this winter after being pushed by LEGO. The Doctor Who event in Fortnite will have a mini battle pass, allegedly, similar to the previous Dragon Ball crossover last winter. The data miner alleges that one of the styles for the 15th Doctor was scrapped.

While not all new information, the fact that it comes from a leaker who’s been completely right about collaborations and other major crossovers gives more weight to the earlier updates. While this seemingly gives further credibility to the Doctor Who leak, it also means that there will be some kind of substantial collaboration with LEGO, which was also previously leaked.

It seems that Epic seems to think that this is a worthwhile collaboration since it wasn’t canceled during the decision to refocus on more profitable projects earlier this year. We can likely expect skins of at least one doctor, with it sounding like there will be additional cosmetics on a mini-battle pass.
