According to some recent leaks, Fortnite fans might expect some upcoming motorcycles and summer surfboards to be introduced to the game soon.

You can check out some key artwork for the additions in the breaking tweet here, which also reveals how the new items could work:

Apparently, Epic Games will smoothly work in the motorcycles by using the established animations for animal riding. This makes plenty of sense, adding more credibility to the leaks.

Fans have been clamoring for motorcycles for a very long time, and the tweet blew up with even more enthusiasm for the new vehicles.

Rumors suggest they will have two seats, making them both a strategic and fun addition. The ability to boost and drift will also be a natural fit for Fortnite map traversal or combat.

But despite the practical uses of motorcycles, the fanbase is already getting big ideas about the creative side of things. Many fans are hoping to pull off tricks, even something simple like wheelies. But most are interested in the potential cosmetics.

The interests range from a conventional biker look to more elaborate IP like Ghost Rider. Motorcycles open the flood gates for countless crossovers, since there have been plenty of famous bikes.

Anything from a Tron lightcycle to a Star Wars speeders are on the table, so many are wondering what the inaugural tie-in could be. Some guesses include Indiana Jones or Jurassic World, which both have massive upcoming sequels.

Because surfboards already have an available spawner in creative mode, fans aren’t sure if the new summer surfboards will actually enter battle royale.

Although surfboards already exist in-game, they would also affect gameplay even more than motorcycles. Either way, fans are clearly pleased that their patience has seemed to pay off, even if more serious issues like the XP problem still haven’t been resolved just yet.
