A new Genshin Impact leak reveals the upcoming World Quest feature that players may look forward to upon the release of version 3.0.
Genshin Impact is heading to a new version, making the Sumeru region accessible for players soon. As usual, once a region becomes explorable, players will be given the opportunity to embark on new quests as they progress through a new storyline. This time, players anticipate the upcoming Story and World Quests that the Sumeru region offers.
Sumeru is known to be Teyvat’s land of deserts and forests. As such, majority of the events and quests to be introduced may have a desert or forest theme. Since the beta test for Genshin Impact version 3.0 is currently live, dataminers have been quite active in sharing information about the update across various online platforms. Among the leaked contents include the upcoming Characters, Story, and World Quests. Recently, a Genshin Impact leak account provided a few hints about the forthcoming Sumeru World Quest.
According to Genshin Impact dataminer, Waiting for Sumeru, version 3.0 will feature a World Quest, titled “The Forest Book,” where the Traveler may obtain and wear a special flower crown during the mission. This World Quest might involve a festival in Sumeru, similar to the Inazuma festival during Kamisato Ayaka’s Story Quest where Travels gets to where a Kitsune mask. In the previous Ayaka Story Quest, players were only able to wear the mask during the final part of Ayaka’s story quest. Hopefully, Hopefully, players will be able to keep and use the special flower crown that they have acquired during the Sumeru World Quest.
Genshin Impact version 3.0 is expected to launch six weeks after 2.8’s release, which will be around August 24, 2022. Now that the 2.8 update is at its final phase, the Sumeru update is getting closer to being released. It is also possible that the 3.0 Special Program is only a few days away now. As such, all speculations, rumors, and leaks regarding version 3.0 will be officially confirmed soon.
