Although Genshin Impact 2.8 is still in its early phase, dataminers have already begun releasing information about forthcoming characters, including details on Scaramouche.
As the Sixth of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, Scaramouche is considered one of the main antagonists in the Genshin Impact storyline. He made his first in-game appearance during the Crisis Deepen – the main quest for the second phase of the Unreconciled Stars event of Genshin Impact version 1.1. In later events of the story, it would be revealed that Scaramouche was actually a puppet that had been created by Electro Archon, Raiden Ei, to serve as a vessel for her Gnosis. Despite his disagreeable personality, Scaramouche had become a beloved character for many Genshin Impact fans. As such, his arrival as a playable character is eagerly awaited.
Prior leaks regarding Scaramouche claim that his Character Banner is expected to be available by the release of the Genshin Impact 3.2 update. Recently, dataminer Mero surprised fans with a new Scaramouche leak, revealing his element and weapon. According to Mero, Scaramouche is an Anemo vision holder and a Catalyst. Mero also detailed that Scaramouche’s Elemental Skill would have a 9 seconds cooldown and his Elemental Burst would have 15 seconds cooldown and energy cost of 60.
While many have anticipated that Scaramouche would wield a Catalyst as a weapon, his Anemo vision seemed to be unexpected for the majority as he had been a vessel of the Electro Archon. Meanwhile, some fans assumed that Scaramouche would also have a Boss version, similar to Fatui Harbingers Tartaglia and Signora. Fans have also considered the possibility that Scaramouche’s Boss version would have an Electro element.
While it is great to learn about Scaramouche, it is important to note that these leaks have not been verified and are susceptible to change. Nonetheless, Scaramouches arrival as a playable character is still far ahead. For now, players may enjoy and partake in various events offered by Genshin Impact 2.8.
