Players were surprised last month when Gori: Cuddly Carnage showed a new trailer during the Guerrilla Collective last month, showing a cute cat dealing devastating damage to unicorns. However, in a press release earlier today, developer Angry Demon announced that it will be attending Gamescom 2023 with new gameplay.

The email states that the developers will be sharing details about the cat at the center of the game and why he’s got such a problem with the unicorns. Players who attend in person will also be able to check out the second playable level of the game, which will include a never-before-seen boss battle in its entirety to give players a close look at what they can expect on release.

Gori promises to be just what the name implies, with the developers making it clear that their goal is to allow players to kill in as many bloody ways as they can. While the cat is very cute, the monster designs are truly grotesque in some of the most impressive ways. Players may get a look at one such boss during the Gamescom 2023 demo.

It’s an innovative title where speed is the name of the game, second only to killing unicorns in the most impressive way possible. The cyberpunk lighting and theme is sure to further feed into the stylistic tone of this game that seems like it could be a big appeal to players.

There is currently no release date for Gori: Cuddly Carnage, but players should follow along with Angry Demon and publisher Wired Studios for all the updated information.
