Great Tusk Weaknesses

Great Tusk is a Ground and Fighting-type Pokemon, which means they have weaknesses to Flying, Water, Grass, Psychic, Ice, and Fairy-type moves. It has an immunity to Electric, and is resistant to Poison, Rock, Bug, and Dark-type attacks.

While any Flying, Water, Grass, Psychic, Ice, and Fairy-type moves will be sufficient to finish off Great Tusk, you will want to focus on Special Attack moves if you have them. Great Tusk has a much higher Physical Defense, which means you will have much better luck using Special Attacks.

As for specific Pokemon you want to avoid bringing into battle against Great Tusk, you will want to make sure to leave Electric, Fire, Poison, Rock, Steel, Dark, and Normal out. They all have at least one weakness to Great Tusk’s attacks. Great Tusk can also carry Dark, Bug, and Rock moves, so be on the lookout for those.

That’s everything you need to know about the moves that will be best used against Great Tusk. For more detailed guides, be sure to head to the Pokemon section of our website.
