505 Games has announced that the PlayStation release of Gunfire Reborn, previously scheduled for June 1st, will be postponed. The publisher announced the delay via Twitter, assuring fans that an updated launch date would be shared as soon as it’s confirmed. They thanked their audience for their patience and promised more information in the near future.
Upon its eventual launch, Gunfire Reborn will be available digitally on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 for $19.99. A physical edition, exclusively for PlayStation 5, is also planned for $29.99. Pre-orders for the physical edition are currently open at various retailers, including Amazon and Play-Asia.
Originally launched in early access on PC via Steam in May 2020, Gunfire Reborn had its full release on November 18, 2021. The game was subsequently launched for Xbox Series and Xbox One on October 27, 2022. Its unique art style, combined gameplay of first-person shooter, roguelite, and RPG, and the elaborate yet randomized stage experience have contributed to its popularity.
