What’s Coming in Honkai Star Rail 1.4?
The Honkai Star Rail 1.4 update introduces a host of exciting content. Players can continue their adventures with the Trailblaze Mission and engage in Companion Missions with Jingliu. The update also unveils new areas within Jarilo-VI, including the Old Weapon Testing Ground and the Pillars of Creation, offering fresh challenges to explore.
A compelling addition is the Story Replay Feature, enabling players to pause dialogue and delve into the rich lore context of the game. Moreover, players can anticipate facing new adversaries, including the formidable Shape of Scorch. The update further offers a Login Event featuring 10 Special Passes and a Planar Fissure Event with double drops for Planar Ornaments. In addition to this permanent content, two limited-time events are on the horizon.
In the Aetherium Wars event, players will find themselves immersed in the Star Rail universe as it transitions from an online video game to an in-person fan event called the Interastaral Tournament Festival, set on Jarilo-VI. Gameplay involves conquering various ‘Victory Zones’ across Jarilo-VI, Herta Space Station, and the Xianzhou Luofu to collect Aether Spirits, representing a variety of enemies encountered in the game.
These spirits are categorized into mechanical, humanoid, and abhorrent types, each resembling the Elemental type of normal characters and requiring strategic use. Overlord Aether Spirits offer enhanced combat abilities. Completing challenges within the festival rewards players with the opportunity to choose a free 4-Star character from a selection including Pela, Serval, Luka, or Hook, along with other valuable rewards like Stellar Jade, Self-Modeling Resin, Tracks of Destiny, and Relic Remains material.
Additionally, the Planar Infinity event offers a Simulated Universe experience with added challenges to earn altered Blessings and Curios. Unique to this event, Infinite Curios persist instead of being consumed after a few uses. Players progress through “Herta’s Manic Plain” as the end boss for each floor, facing escalating waves of enemies as they clear more floors.

How to Pre-Install Honkai Star Rail
Honkai Star Rail is available on the following platforms if you haven’t downloaded it yet:

- PC gamers: There are two options available to you. You can either play the PC version through the Epic Games Store or through the regular PC version.
For PC Users:
- Launch your PC launcher.
- Find the Game Pre-Installation button.
- You’ll find it right next to the Start Game button.
- The download will begin as soon as you click Get Now.

Jingliu
Jingliu is a five-star ice swordswoman who is the former Sword Master of the Luofu faction. So she’s not four-star but she is coming. She is known for her elegant swordsmanship and her unwavering determination. However, she was corrupted by the Mara and became insane, leading her to be defeated by her own student, Jing Yuan.
Qingque
The damage-dealing mechanics of Qingque make her an exceptional DPS character in Honkai: Star Rail. As a result, her ability to deal high damage is largely luck-based, since she must align her tiles in order to trigger powerful basic attacks.
Sampo
It’s impossible to deny Sampo’s strength as a unit in Honkai: Star Rail, regardless of whether you’re a fan or not. Bosses are no match for his exceptional single-target damage capabilities and his ability to accumulate Damage over Time effects.
Tingyun
When equipped with the correct build, Tingyun is the game’s premier support character. In a free-to-play setup, she pairs exceptionally well with Dan Heng because of the synergy between her abilities and his skill that activates when targeted by an ally.
