PvP Protection Bounty Limit in Grand Piece Online (GPO)

Update: There is no PvP Protection in GPO unless you are in the starting safe zone. This means you can quickly get attacked by other players as soon as you step out of the starting island safe zone. The rest of the article below is incorrect.

The PvP Protection in Grand Piece Online (GPO) increased from 1,000 Bounty to 10,000 Bounty. So if your bounty is less than 10,000 you cannot be killed by enemy players. While this may seem like a lot if you’re new, it really isn’t.

Note: You have no PvP protection in Battle Royale Mode. So make sure you know how to keep your teammates alive and how to ping. Your bounty also does not matter for the Trading Hub, you are always safe.

We’d estimate that you would be safe for the first part of the first Island. Your bounty should exceed that small number the second you leave the first Island. The first Island is already a zone where you shouldn’t PvP anyway, so you should be safe there to begin with. Once you leave, just assume you’re a target for any Marine or Pirate around.

If you want to remove your PvP protection before you reach 10,000 Bounty, you can go to your Menu by pressing M, then picking your settings and turning on PvP. Your protection will leave the screen.
