Featured Fortnite Building Disabled

Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 2 has just been released and with it come a lot of new changes and additions to the game. This is always an exciting time because Epic tries out some new things and adds a bunch of features that players haven’t experienced before. This time it looks like they’ve decided to remove building for a period of time! If you’re wondering how long this will last, we’ll tell you in this guide!

Building officially returned to the game on April 2nd, 2022!

How long will building be disabled?

Building in Fortnite will be removed for at least a week, but more like nine days from the start of the season. This will give players a chance to experience the new mode without constructing structures as they would normally. You can still build in Arena if you truly dislike the game without building.

The timespan on how long building will be disabled was determined by a leak:

I must stress that you should remain patient, I know a lot of people are angry about this change but it’s only for a brief time. If you do end up enjoying this mode, it appears according to leaks that there will be “No Build Battle Royale” LTMs available that you can participate in! These can be queued up in solo, duos, trios, or squads.

While building might be removed, you will get some extra protection. You now have an Overshield on top of your Shield and Health to help you maintain cover. The Overshield is your first line of defense: it’s your Overshield that will break first, before your Shield or Health. Even if your Overshield drops to zero, it will still recover.

No building in Fortnite is not Fortnite, it’s Apex or COD. So if there is not building then I may as well play COD.
