Forspoken is an action-based, role-playing game, which follows the journey of Frey, a New Yorker who has been transported to the stunning, yet torturous, land of Athia, and she has to use her magical powers to cross the land and get back home. If you’re trying to figure out how to climb in Forspoken, we have a guide on how to do this as well as how to unlock climbing!

How to Climb (Leap Ability)

To climb in Forspoken, simply having Flow will allow you to move around quickly and get on some items, but you’ll really need to use the ability Leap to truly climb! The Leap parkour move allows Frey to kick off from a wall in order to climb higher. If you have learned Leap, you can press the circle button and the L-stick to leap midair.

As you progress through the game, you can also learn Soar, which will allow Frey to climb to higher heights with multiple leaps. The parkour move Zip can be used to grab and move, e.g. swinging from anchor points.

How to Unlock Leap (or Climbing)

To unlock the magical parkour spell Leap, which will enable Frey to reach higher and higher heights than she would with just Flow, you will need to reach Chapter 3 and jump into the Mulberry Fount of Blessing, which is located in The Barren Plains, just outside the Cpial gates. Forspoken does an excellent job utilizing map markers so you can bring up the map and see the exact location marked.

Hopefully, we helped you figure out how to climb higher and higher in Forspoken! Don’t forget to check out the rest of our Forspoken coverage.
