Forspoken is an action-based, role-playing game, which follows the journey of Frey, a New Yorker who has been transported to the stunning, yet torturous, land of Athia, and she has to use her magical powers to cross the land and get back home. If you’re trying to figure out how to dodge in Forspoken to reduce damage taken, we have a guide on how to dodge as well as how to unlock the ability!

How to Dodge and Evade (Flow)

To dodge in Forspoken, you’ll want to use the spell Flow, which is a magical parkour move that enables Frey to dodge and evade enemy attacks by enabling high-speed movement. You will hold down the circle button and left joystick simultaneously to use Flow.

Unfortunately, in the early game, this move is not yet available, so you will simply have to physically move Frey away from enemies to avoid their attacks.

How to Unlock Flow

To unlock the magical parkour spell Flow, which is Forspoken’s take on the classic dodge/evade ability, you will have to defeat Chapalania, which is a boss found in Chapter 2. While you will need Mana to gain access to spells and can choose how to spend your mana, Flow is automatically learned through a tutorial and will cost 10 mana to unlock.

Hopefully, we helped you figure out how to evade those enemies to take less damage in Forspoken! Don’t forget to check out the rest of our Forspoken coverage.
