As part of the season quests of Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 1, you will be doing tasks for The Scientist who is a member of the Seven. One of these missions will require you to visit the newly added Covert Cavern. Once you’ve arrived, you will need to then eliminate an Imagined Order Operative to collect a Data Card. If that’s where you’re at and are wondering what you need to do, we’ll show you how to complete it in this guide.
Eliminating an IO Operative
To eliminate an Imagined Order Operative, you just need to stay around Covert Cavern where you start the quest and eliminate any of the guards you will find in the area. The interior of the cavern should pretty much be crawling with them, so just run around until you find and can eliminate one.
When you’ve killed an IO Guard, they should drop a Data Card that you need to collect. Once you obtain the card, you will be given a new quest to complete, which has you bring the Data Card to a Dead Drop. There are multiple dead drops all over the map, but you can find one pretty close to Covert Cavern.
Just travel west across the bridge/road and you will locate a stump that is acting as a Dead Drop for The Seven.
Once you place the Data Card into the stump Dead Drop, you will have complete all parts of the challenge and be rewarded with 25,000 XP for your troubles!
