How to find Beetles
To find Beetles, you’ll head southeast from the NPCs Herne and The Elder towards the southeastern beach. You will find Green Beetles, which are more along the beach, along with Wasps and Water Bugs. If you leave the beach and go slightly north into the forest, you will find Sawyer Beetles as well. Both types of Beetles drop the same resources. You can kill them to gather Beetle Hearts, Chitin, and Insect Fat, which are imperative ingredients for upgrading armor sets and crafting.
Crafting is a critical area to master in Smalland: Survive the Wilds. If you want to survive, preparation is essential since creatures like ants, cockroaches, beetles, wasps, and spiders see Smallfolk as a potential food source, considering them lower on the food chain.
