Most of the strategy in Fortnite has been intense gun fights where your aim needs to be better than your opponent, but Epic Games has been seeking to change that up in recent years. With hiding opportunities and the addition of the Cloak Gauntlets in 25.10, many players can now choose stealth as a valid option in taking on enemies.

The Cloak Gauntlets are a new Mythic Item that allows players to hide from opponents in plain sight for as long as they have them equipped. Fortnite‘s Cloak Gauntlets aren’t so hard to find if you know where to look for them.

As with most new items, players can find the Cloak Gauntlets on the ground and in chest spawns, so they should go places with the highest spawn for both of those. POIs like Mega City and Rumble Ruins may be good places to look. That being said, there’s a guaranteed Mythic variation if you’re able to defeat the new boss, Wildguard Relik, who can be found at Rumble Ruins, highlighted above.

The reflective ore inside the gloves causes them to make the wearer invisible for a brief period and the Mythic version from Relik makes this effect last longer. It’s one of the more effective invisibility effects in games in general, nearly making the character invisible to you as well. You could likely run alongside an enemy player and they would have no idea where the footsteps were coming from.

Fortnite‘s 25.10 update is the first content update of Chapter Four, season four and it provides some fun opportunities for sneaking up on opponents or just using it to get a higher placement. Keep your eyes peeled for chests and ground spawns so you can get the Cloak Gloves for yourself.
