Fortnite is constantly changing the way that players interact with its game, adding new items and weapons to keep us engaged. There is a range of new weapons that were added during Chapter Four, se including the Flapjack Rifle and the Optimus Prime Mythic cannon, but nothing provides more opportunities than the Kinetic Boomerang.
The Kinetic Boomerang in Fortnite Chapter Four, season three can be found in a variety of locations around the map and it even comes with a cool glove that gives off purple energy.

It seems like your best bet for finding the Kinetic Boomerang is to find it as chest or floor loot, similar to the rest of the loot pool. There are no special loot instructions mentioned in the patch notes, so this likely means it can be found in the places where the most loot spawns at the beginning of the match. The POIs marked above work as great locations, which include:
- New misty jungle
- MEGA City
- Slappy Shores
Players can use the Kinetic Boomerang pretty much how they’d expect, throwing it to deal damage before returning it to their hand automatically. If you miss your target you can recall the boomerang early by pressing the fire button again, the Right Trigger on Controllers, and the left mouse button on PC. In our time using the device, we found it was pretty easy to get hits if you’re familiar with the game’s controls.
Once you find a Kinetic Boomerang, make sure to hang onto it because it currently seems like the best weapon in the game right now.
