Unknown RNG – How To Fish

Before you can fish in Unknown RNG, you’ll need to progress through the Story Mode missions. Once you reach a specific point in the storyline (you’ll be told to start fishing), you’ll be given a fishing rod. This will automatically be added to your inventory.

From there, you just need to walk to the river with the bridge. When I first tried to fish, the option didn’t show up at all. I had to learn how to take the fishing rod out and fish manually before it would happen at the press of a button. To do this, walk up to a river, enter your inventory, and press the Fishing Rod. Press Use, and then you will fish. From then on, you can just walk up to a river and press E to fish.

Fishing is an AFK activity, so it just rolls through the fish like an aura. You start with a base Fishing Luck that depends on your aura, but you gain 0.05 Fishing luck every 30 minutes you fish. We recommend turning Anti-AFK on in your settings; that way, if you disconnect, you’ll automatically reconnect and not lose your Fishing Time.

After a while, you can just sell your fish to Matthew the Fisherman. He stands on a dock over in the river.
