How to get gems in Diablo Immortal
Unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee a 5-Star Legendary Gem in Diablo Immortal. All gems drop with random stars, so your best bet is to farm as many gem-dropping items as possible to increase your chances of getting a 5-Star Gem.
Your best option for getting Legendary gems is through Elder Rifts. Elder Rifts don’t automatically drop Legendary Gems, but if you can use a rare or legendary crest, you can earn some Legendary Gems by completing the rift.
Getting Rare Crests is no problem. You can get one per day for free from an Elder Rift, and buy up to two per day from the Hilts Trader. Legendary Crests are a different story, however, with only one being available for purchase per month.
Rare Crests add a chance for a Legendary Gem to drop, while Legendary Crests guarantee that a gem will drop. While the odds are skewed towards one-star gems, with enough grinding you will eventually get a 5-Star gem.
