Sports Story is a sports-based RPG that features different characters that you can be become friends with (or enemies with!) while trying out different sports and their related activities, including golf, volleyball, and even BMX! How to get a Skimmer Ball
To get a Skimmer Ball in Sports Story, you’ll need to head northeast from the starting point of the beach toward the pier. Then, speak with the character with a ponytail and blue cap to earn punches. The first challenge to earn punches will be to hit the new skimmer balls successfully into at least three rings. Once you complete this challenge, you will unlock the Skimmer Ball as well as a punch on your playing card.
Note, you will need the Sandy Wedge in order to complete this challenge!
You can get a free Skimmer Ball in a goodie bag given by a character wearing a blue shirt and blue baseball cap north of the Lifeguard station, near a pier by the white fence that says “PureStrike.” This character will be standing between two sets of balloons. The goodie bag will also contain a Vector Ball and a Steel Ball.
In the later game, you will be able to purchase them from the Golf Store at the mall.
